🗓️ Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van

  • Depart from Ha Giang city in the morning, riding towards Quan Ba Heaven’s Gate with stunning views of the Twin Mountains.

  • Visit Lung Tam weaving village, where Hmong women keep alive the tradition of hand-weaving hemp fabric dyed with indigo.

  • Lunch in Yen Minh before continuing to Sung La Valley – famous for its natural beauty and traditional houses.

  • Explore the Hmong King’s Palace, a historic residence of the Vuong family.

  • Arrive in Dong Van in the late afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a family dinner at your local homestay with traditional food and corn wine.

Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Meo Vac – Du Gia

  • Ride along the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most scenic roads in Vietnam.

  • Take a boat trip on the Nho Que River through Tu San Canyon – a highlight of the Loop.

  • Lunch in Meo Vac. If it’s Sunday, you’ll visit the colorful Meo Vac market, where ethnic groups gather in vibrant traditional clothes.

  • Continue the ride to Du Gia village, a peaceful Tay community surrounded by mountains and rice fields.

  • Dinner and overnight at a Tay homestay – complete with local dishes, warm hospitality, and maybe even a traditional dance performance.

Day 3: Du Gia – Ha Giang

  • After breakfast, visit the refreshing Du Gia Waterfall, perfect for a morning swim.

  • Ride back towards Ha Giang via scenic mountain roads, with plenty of photo stops along the way.

  • Lunch on the way, arriving back in Ha Giang around 3:00 – 3:30 PM.

  • Round-trip sleeper bus: Hanoi – Ha Giang – Hanoi.

  • Motorbike with fuel and helmet (self-drive or Easy Rider option with driver).

  • 2 nights in local homestays.

  • All meals during the tour (Vietnamese local cuisine).
